our bio.

hi. my name is tracie brown.

i’m an artist, mother, small business owner

and un-professional basketball cheerleader.

i’ve been artistic as long as i can remember,

but i didn’t start painting until i was in my early twenties.

did i mention i am completely self taught?

so i started painting a few canvases here and there

and then i started painting on my walls.

that turned into a mural and fine art business.

as my art business grew and grew, so did my two amazing boys.

and as most artists and creative people are wont to do,

i kept getting more and more inspired to try new things.

so i started to draw.

and that’s how alex & asher. was born.

what started out as a project to create some really cool, hip onesies

with some fun, old school, retro illustrations -

alex & asher. began to grow into a larger collection

with all kinds of kid’s gear including pillows, plates and prints.

...and my baby is still growing every day.
